Arrival day

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to your hotel in Moshi Town or Arusha City. Meet with your Professional tour guide for a pre-climb briefing and gear check.



Lemosho gate to Mtimkubwa camp

Drive to the Lemosho Gate (starting point) and begin the trek through lush rainforest to the first camp at Mti Mkubwa (2,750m). This is a relatively easy day to help you acclimatize.

Base camp to Uhuru Peak back to Base camp again and to Millennium camp

Wake up around midnight for a hot drink and a light breakfast, then begin the final ascent to the summit (Uhuru Peak, 5,895m). This is the most challenging part of the climb, but the views from the top are truly spectacular. Descend a little to Millennium camp (3,100m) for overnight.
