The 3-Day Lake Manyara & Serengeti Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Lake Manyara – The Emerald Forest Your journey begins with a morning pickup from your hotel. We drive directly to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. You will explore a landscape of extremes: from the dense groundwater forest filled with baboons and blue monkeys to the open lakeshore where hippos wallow and flamingos gather. Keep your eyes on the acacia branches this is the best place to find tree-climbing lions. As the sun sets, we head to your lodge for a warm safari dinner.

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Central Serengeti – Into the Endless Plains After an early breakfast, we travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, stopping for a panoramic view of the Crater before entering Serengeti National Park. We descend onto the plains for an afternoon game drive in the Seronera Valley. This central hub is famous for its high concentration of lions and leopards. You will spend the afternoon tracking predators through the iconic acacia-dotted landscape before retreating to your camp for a night under the stars.
