Day 1: Arusha to Katavi National Park – Full-Day Game Drive
Your adventure begins early in the morning with a transfer from your hotel in Arusha to the airport for a scheduled domestic flight to Katavi National Park. Upon arrival, you will be met by an experienced safari guide who will accompany you throughout the day.

Katavi National Park offers an exclusive safari experience with vast floodplains, riverine forests, and grasslands teeming with wildlife. The park is home to one of the largest buffalo populations in Africa, along with elephants, lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and hippos. During the dry season, the Katuma River becomes the primary water source, drawing thousands of animals and creating spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities.

Your game drive will take you through different terrains of the park, offering opportunities to witness predator-prey interactions, large concentrations of hippos in the Katavi River, and various bird species.
